South Africa – The Sardine Run
We been looking forward to join the sardine run for quite some years and this time it worked out.
The sardine run happens every year when massive amounts of sardines migrate from the south of South Africa along the coast to the north to lay their eggs and return. During this migration lots of predators join the action like gannets, dolphins and sharks. If you are lucky and you are in the right place at the right time you can experience the action.
If you are exceptionally lucky you can witness a baitball formed by dolphins during a hunt.
This marked the end of our three month trip togehter.
