After Raudisandur again we drove all the way to Isarfjördur. On the way we stopped at the impressive Dynjandi waterfall.

I visited Svinafellsjokull and returned back to the Diamond Beach. The day after I walked towards the Skaftafell Glacier and continued to the Geysir because I was going to meet Kerstin the day after.

Due to nice weather I returned from Vestrahorn to the Diamond Beach to enjoy the day.

I continued to the mighty Dettifoss and visited both sides. In the afternoon I returned all the way back to Vestrahorn.

After a great morning at Vestrahorn I decided to go back again to the Puffins at Borgafjordur.

First day alone I went from Seljalandsfoss to Skogafoss and the Solheimasandur Plane Wreck. In the evening I drove to my favorite spot Vestrahorn.

During Corona it was possible to travel to Iceland. We decided for Kerstin to work on a horse farm while I was driving around in a camper. After a week we joined and continued together to the Westfjords and more stuff we did not see during our trip in 2019.

The hike from Landmannalaugar to Skogafoss via Thorsmork is a spectacular hike. Distance about 90km. We did it in three days (long days). Everyday consisted of around 900-1000m elevation gain.
