Switzerland 2026 – Engadin – #01 – Silvaplana – Coaz

For our 21st anniversary as couple we decided to take a long weekend to go to Engadin. When we arrived in the morning the forecast for wind was quite good so we went to the Silvaplaner lake. It wasnt too windy but enough for Kerstin to go out for an hour.

In the afternoon we prepared to go on a multiday hike sleeping in huts in the mountains. We took the cable car to Murtel and hiked to the wonderful Coaz hut. The scenery along the way is impressive. Our plan was to do parts of the Bernina Trek.
