Switzerland 2026 – Engadin – #03 – Chamanna Tschierva – Boval

Before getting to this part of our trek, we were a bit unsure if its worth it to hike up to the hut (it is). The scenery is different but you are close to glaciers. You can hear the moving glaciers from time to time and sometimes you see ice falling down.

After enjoying, we decided to continue for another night. This time we decided to hike to the Boval hut.

We went on a different route. We hiked all the way back down and up again to where we came from to get our car. We drove half an hour to Morteratsch and hiked up to the hut, where we arrived at 21:30.
