Iceland 2020 #07 – Reunited – Snaefellsnes – Stuck at a broken ferry to the Westfjords

Finally we reunited. Before we continued to the Westfjords via ferry we stayed the night at the Snaeffelsnes Peninsula. We had to get our tyre fixed and went on the ferry.

The Ferry starts from Stykkisholmur and does a short stop at Flatey, a small Island with birds and colourful houses. Unfortunately the Ferry had an engine problem and we were stuck on Flatey. Fortunately a small ferry stopped by and we decided to continue (without our car, which was still on the Ferry). The broken Ferry had to be towed back and we had to rent another car until our car was delivered to us (it took 3 days).
