South America 2025 – #01 – Peru – Paracas Huacachina

Start of our Trip to South America 2025.

First stop was Peru. We flew in to Lima, took a rental car, and drove all the way down to Paracas for a few days. Our goal was to start the holiday more or less relaxed by kiting for a few days in Paracas. April is the end of the season regarding wind. We had a few good days.

There is Huacachina nearby. A supposed secluded oasis in the desert where you can do stuff like sandboarding. Also close to Paracas is a National Park you can visit for half a day when there is no wind. It has some nice beaches. The whole area is more or less desert like.
