New Zealand 2023 – South Island – Mount Cook

After escaping the Tekapo madness we drove along Lake Pukaki to do one of the most scenic short hikes, the Hooker Valley Track. Weather cleared so having views of Mount Cook looked promising. We did this track in 2017, but it was rainy and rainy.

After the hike (also quite a lot of people during the first half) we went for a quick look of the Tasman Glacier and watched the sunset from a distance ❤️
