New Zealand 2023 – South Island – Lewis Pass and Lake Tekapo

Time to continue our journey. After spending the evening before in the upper Abel Tasman at Taupo Point we continued driving south to Hanmer Springs via Lewis Pass.

We had a nice afternoon at Hanmer Springs before continuing our drive. We arrived at Lake Tekapo in the morning.

If you dont have to go there, dont go. Way too crowded with tourist buses arriving every 15 minutes… 🙄

Beautiful scenery, but beware of the tourists.
