Madeira 2025 – #07 – Achadas da Cruz – Ponta Ladeira – Boa Morte – Gargante Funda

Time to explore the western part of Madeira. Starting with Achadas da Cruz with the steepest cable car of Madeira. Due to high wind it was closed so we hiked down and had the whole area for ourselves. The hike is very steep but worth it with an elevation loss of 600m. Of course you have to hike back up :). When we arrived at the top again the cable car started running ;). We continued to the next northern Viewpoint Miradouro do Ponta da Ladeira. Finally Miradouro Boa Morte and Gargante Funda.
