Madeira 2025 – #05 – Valley of the Nuns – Pico Arieiro

This day we drove towards the Nun Valley. Usually covered in clouds. The forecast looked promising for some clear skies. When we arrived the sky looked pretty good. We monitored all the webcams hourly and when we finally saw clear skies at Pico Arieiro we immediatly started our drive there. Usually Arieiro is in clouds. During our whole stay there were only two more or less clear windows. The sky opened up for about 2h before fogging up again. Pure luck 😉
